• Account information: email address, authentication details, and role (professional or company) from your account setup.
• Professional profile: name, headline, location, years of experience, current role, work samples, skills, impact metrics, topic starters, and visibility preferences.
• Company profile: company name, recruiter information, and context about hiring needs.
• Contact details: phone number stored in a separate, owner-only table for account and trust verification. It is never shown on your public canvas. When you save your canvas as a PDF you can choose to add it, and your email, to that file; the file is built in your browser and we don’t keep a copy.
• Interactions: interest requests, messages, evaluation briefs, responses, and feedback shared in Eval Rooms.
• Technical data: browser type, device information, IP address, and cookies or similar identifiers used to keep you signed in and understand how the platform is used.

• To operate the platform and match professionals with relevant company interest requests.
• To display your professional canvas to other users according to the visibility settings you choose.
• To communicate with you about your account, requests, and platform updates.
• To improve the product and fix issues.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect the rights and safety of our users.

• Other users, as intended: professionals choose who can view their canvas and who can send interest requests. Company profiles are visible to professionals when a company sends an interest request or participates in an Eval Room.
• Service providers: we use managed cloud infrastructure for authentication, database, and storage. These providers process data only to provide the services we need and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal authorities: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of CanvasedIn or our users.

We use essential cookies to keep you authenticated and secure. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with the platform. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

On our public pages (home, about, contact, blog and sign-up) we use the Google Ads tag to measure whether our ads lead to sign-ups. It sets cookies that record the ad you arrived from, and tells Google when a new account is created, without your name, email or any other account details. It does not run on public Canvas pages or anywhere inside your account, and it is not used to personalise ads. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are not tracked by it unless they consent.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we will remove or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain it for legal or security reasons.

• You can update your profile, canvas, and visibility settings from the settings page.
• You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@CanvasedIn.com.
• You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption in transit, authenticated access, and row-level access controls in the database. No system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account details safe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
